Cam, aformer NFL quarterbackwith the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots (who is currently a free agent), his younger brother Caylin, and older brother Cecil all share a love of football and have had various careers in the sport.

Cecil Jr., the oldest, played as a center atTennessee State Universityand also in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers and the Baltimore Ravens. Caylin, the youngest Newton brother, also had a collegiate football career at various universities, including Howard, Auburn and William & Mary.

Off the football field, the brothers are close. Caylinshared a photoof the three brothers posing together on Instagram back in 2019, with big smiles on all their faces. “Blessed man .. This picture , just look at my smile . Forget them 🤣 Love my big bros 🤟🏽 #TheNewtonBoys #hatgamestrong,” he captioned the post.

Cecil Jr. also has a family of his own. He is married to his wifeBethany Newton, and together they have three children:two daughters and a son.

According to ESPN, Cam made the varsity football team in high school as a freshman, and played with older brother Cecil Jr. Cam was referred to as “Cecil’s little brother” on the team. They struggled with their chemistry as teammates on the field in their first game together after Cam fumbled the ball.

“You guys live in the same household,” their coach Dallas Allen told ESPN. “Bobbling a snap is the last thing you guys should do.”

After high school, Cecil Jr. played football at the Tennessee State University, where he walked on and received a scholarship, according to ESPN. After college, he played in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers.

Caylin and Cam played football for Auburn University

Caylin also attended Auburn University like brother Cam and played football during the 2021-2022 season. Cam joined Caylin at Auburn’s pro day in March 2023, where Caylin spoke of Cam’s “amazing career in the NFL."

He toldESPN, “He’s still got it. Whatever organization wants to get a winning quarterback, his number’s still open and available."

Cam and Cecil Jr. own a cigar lounge and restaurant

Cam and Cecil Jr. have gone into business together. They co-founded a cigar lounge and restaurant that serves Southern food in Atlanta, Georgia, called Fellaship. They opened the venture in 2019, according toEater Atlanta.

Cecil Jr. also co-owns a barbecue restaurant in Atlanta calledSmokey Stallion.

Caylin looks up to brother Cam

Caylin admires his older brother’s football career and work ethic.

In an interview withThe Baltimore Sun, he shared that he looks to his older brother for how to learn from his mistakes and “to learn what works for him and to see why he is so successful and to just do it … to have an MVP quarterback as my sibling, it doesn’t really get any better than that."

Cam also loves his brother Caylin, and they are very close. In an interview on hisYouTube channel,Cam shared that Caylin was “his right hand. He’s my go-to. My guy. My lifer.”

Caylin supports Cam re-entering the NFL

Cecil Newton Sr. raised his sons to work hard. In an interview with ESPN, Cecil Sr. was described as someone who “always made sure they [his sons] were working, on football or doing odd jobs around the neighborhood to earn a few bucks and buy their own sneakers.”

It instilled a hard work ethic in his sons.

“We were always raised to work hard,” Cecil Jr. told ESPN. “My father was a key figure in both of our lives.”

In another interview withFox Sports, Cecil Jr. and Cam’s youth football coach Lee Blitch shared, “Their daddy would have both of them out there. I didn’t care what kind of weather it was. Cold, hot or whatever. Their daddy would drill themnow.”

Caylin overcame physical adversities

Caylin shared on Instagram in 2021 that back in 2011, he was diagnosed with Blount’s disease, causing his legs to bow. He sharedin an inspiring postthe difficulties he’s overcome, writing, “I walked and ran different than everyone else and people would remind me everyday with the jokes.”

Through it all, he became an SEC football player whose goal is to encourage “anyone to overcome your self doubt and lack of self confidence no matter what people say about you.”
