Motorola and Apple have announced a wandering iTunes music role player that will allow Motorola ’s coming ‘ always with you ’ handsets to play music purchased from the iTunes Music Store . Although the number of songs will be fix to the flash remembering storage place inside the phones , most units should be able to hold a few dozen songs , at least , cause them the miss piece in Apple ’s euphony playback equipment design . iPod and iPod mini for those that want a dedicated , large - electrical capacity music twist ; iTunes phones for those who just require a few song here and there .
When the service launches in the first one-half of 2005 , songs will be transferred from microcomputer to phones via the standard USB or Bluetooth interface , but hopefully later versions of iTunes Mobile will be able to download over the airwave . And does this mean that Motorola has decide MP3s are the ringtones of the hereafter ? That ’s going to make some people ( read : carriers ) a small pissy , especially considering an iTunes download is cheaper than most ringtones .
