This image prove a house that has collapsed and fallen into a river . Perhaps not surprisingly , the photographs capture much of the devastation wrought by the Great War .

In regards to the raw discovery , Orlov line how it all unfolded :

When I get home I was anxious to figure out everything about the internal workings of this tv camera . First order of occupation was to clean it . Everything in the collection that was evolve by that store is covered with a thick stratum of dust and grime and it took quite a few Armorall wipes to get the leather to win a presentable look . Then came the Carl Zeiss lenses – I cautiously took them apart and pass over them to the best of my ability . I ca n’t say they are in great shape , but at least I got the majority of fog off of them . I started to carry out of thing to clean on the outside of the photographic camera , which naturally made me wonder what it expect like on the inside . After a good while of looking for the back release I understand that there is none present entire back can be slid to one side . The plate atmospheric pressure bound jumped out at me like a couple of live and angry rabbits ( the Monty Python And The Holy Grail kind ) . Naturally I think something was awry as I am not yet used to television camera office charging in attack mode . as luck would have it I soon realized that I was out of the risk zone and that the two function act as they should have been expected to . Here is where thing fix incredibly interesting .

Inside each plastic film bedroom I found a stack of neat little deoxyephedrine photographic plate holder ( 12 totality ) . While 4 of them were empty the residue contained the original thin plates of chicken feed . The last thing that I ever anticipate to find though were negative image on those plate ! Each of them seem like they were fully develop ! The glass is exculpated ( I am not certain if ironical glass dental plate had antihalation backing on them and am in touch with an expert to assay to receive that out ) in the dark surface area and fully exposed and dark in the weak areas . I am completely baffled by this discovery , but the images were so intriguing that I resolve to skim them .
