call back theDigital Water PavilionI preview last year ? devise by a bunch of MIT brain , who described it as being rather like an inkjet pressman controlling droplets of falling water , it was finally inaugurated last week at the Zaragoza World Expo in Spain . Although the picture is only short you may see the brazilliant gist of the water . Most interesting , however , is what the pavilion needs to make it go .
The DWP consist of 3,000 digitally controlled solenoid valve , several twelve heart , 12 hydraulic stainless steel pistons , and a digital control system that uses open source software program . The roof , 400 - millimeter thick , is the only solid part of the building , and it move up and down on pistons , depending on the atmospheric condition condition . This is the opening ceremonial occasion . Veryson et lumière , doncha think ? Despite the cinematographer ’s best efforts , you could see the time and travail put into the pavilion . I only wish I was still in Spain , then I could assure it out for you all . [ Building DesignandYouTube ]
