It ’s been over a year since we last saw Luci the demon , Elfo the imp , and Bean the newly crownedQueen of Dreamlandon Netflix , and things were n’t looking expert . Luci had die and gone to heaven . Elfo had been carried away by angry fiend for blinding their prince . And pathetic Bean had been dragged off to Inferno by her evil female parent Dagmar to get married someone who may or may not be the de facto ruler of Steamland , which has designs on Dreamland . Impressively , this new preview forDisenchantment : Part IVshows things can always get worse . Because they do !
It seems like basically everyone is lead to challenge Queen Bean for her commode , but it also appears like Dreamland has a secret of its own . It ’s good hooey :

The summary over at the trailer ’s YouTube page says , “ Princess Bean ’s mishap this season let in the find of an underwater palace incorporate secrets that could change the chronicle of Dreamland , ” which is very interesting . But Part IV ’s official abstract is a bit more epical :
“ [ Our wedge ] find themselves everywhere from the profoundness of Hell to the clouds of Heaven and everywhere in between , include Ogreland , Steamland , underwater , monastery , insane sanctuary , the Enchanted Forest , the Dreamscape and more . All the while , dumbfound piece of music both canonical and personal will unveil themselves to eager fans . ”
What I lie with so much about Disenchantment , specially as we go in part four , is that creator Matt Groening has handle to tell a complex , serialized narrative , using excellent world - building and an ever - farm fantasy world , while still being very , very funny . It ’s a real chocolate / peanut butter situation to be as interested in where this amazingly heroic story is guide as much as enjoying all the laughs . I mean , there ’s a shot of Zøg devolve on a charging bear through a “ late - night bunny company ” and steal one of the rabbit ’s cigars — who does n’t want to have a go at it every single iota of linguistic context for that ?
Disenchantment returns to Netflix on February 9 .
