Effective August 31 , 2024 , Google is update itsSpam and Minimal Functionality policy , raising the stripe the apps must meet to be sport in the Play Store . Although , from the face of thing , these are common - sense change that should have been in play a long sentence ago . For instance , “ Apps should provide a stable , responsive , and employ user experience . ” They should also have an real subprogram , not crash , and load once installed .
