Instead, Sweeney’s schedule is only getting crazier as she shared: “I go intoEuphoria.”

In January,Colman Domingo— a recurring guest star on the show who plays Ali, a 12-step sponsor for Rue (Zendaya), a recovering addict —joked to PEOPLE that season 3 will “take place in a nursing home in southeast Los Angeles”at this point, given how much time has passed since season 2 was filmed and released.

He also confirmed that filming was set to begin this year, but had nothing else to share regarding the show.

In August,Cloud diedof anaccidental drug overdose, leaving a major hole in the hearts of theEuphoriacast and fans, and prompting questions as to what the fate of his character will be. Domingo called the death a “significant loss.”

“He was a young man who struggled, but he was such a bright light. He truly was,” Domingo also told PEOPLE. “People say that about people all the time, but this was true. He was kind, he was warm, and he just had a spark.”

Sweeney, along with the rest of the cast, has also reflected on the loss, whichshe said was “such a shock”in an interview withGlamour. “[My costars and I] were constantly on the phone with each other crying,” she said before reflecting on how it’ll affect season 3.

“I don’t think it’ll truly feel real or hit me until we’re filming and I won’t see Angus on set,” she said. “When we are filming, all of our eyes are on each other and we’re there for each other, just in a different way than we’re able to when we’re all in very separate places in the world. It’s really interesting when someone passes away in our industry, because they’re still alive in so many forms.”

“I hope many of you could see yourself in her like I did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today,” theNopeactress, 27, added. “I put all my care and love into her and I hope you guys could feel it. Love you Katherine Hernandez.”

Euphoria’s first two seasons are streaming in full on Max.
