Viral TikToker Marc Sebastian is sharing the number one rule he learned during his time on Royal Caribbean’s nine-month cruise.

The social media star — who’s been sharinghis experiences on the Utlimate World Cruisefor the past 18 nights — said using the word “Titanic” is a big no-no on a cruise ship after a mishap he had in mentioning it to fellow passengers.

“Who knew that? I didn’t,” Sebastian said in a newclipposted Monday which showed him reciting a “list of things I’ve learned about cruising” in his room.

With a pen and notebook in hand, he explained, “I brought it up to an entire room of people having lunch that our ship is only 100 feet longer than the Titanic — when I tell you that utensils dropped. Waiters gasped. It’s dead silent.”

After making the blunder, Sebastian said that his cruise ship friend Nadine whispered to him, “You’re not allowed to talk about the Titanic.”

“Well, it wasn’t like that was in the f—ing handbook,” he noted.

His leg of the voyage was particularly disappointing as nearly every planned excursion, including to the Falkland Islands and Punta Arenas, Chile, was canceled at the last minute do to rough weather and high winds. Sebastian did achieve his goal of visiting a penguin colony, however.

He also shared in his recent video a few more things that he learned about cruising during his stay, including that he learned that “cruise ships have godmothers.” He then revealed that the godmother of the cruise ship he’s on is Whoopi Goldberg as a shot panned to a plaque of the actress on a wall.

“Someone get Whoopi on the line girl I have some goss for her,” Sebastian joked in the caption.Lastly, Sebastian revealed that “cruise ships fill their swimming pools with seawater.”

“I don’t know how in my head I thought they were filling them, but what I didn’t think they were doing was filling it with seawater,” he said.
